Mattingly postgame video

He admits that there was a breakdown in communication on what appeared to be a hit-and-run in the sixth inning, when Yasiel Puig broke for second and was doubled off after Mark Ellis lined out to right. Mattingly wouldn’t answer my question as to where the breakdown happened, but if you read between the lines, he SEEMS to suggest Puig shouldn’t have been running. Sounds like Puig may have been trying to steal on his own or something, but who knows?

Also, for much of this video, you can see the Los Angeles Daily News’ Jill Painter also shooting video in the row in front of me. You know what would be cool? A video of someone shooting a video of someone shooting a video and so on and so forth.

  1. As always, great stuff Tony. When the Dodgers get to the same level as the Lakers and there’s a seemly endless demand for Dodgers-related content, they should give you your own show – like the Lakers have “Backstage: Lakers” you can do this for the Dodgers.
